This Privacy Policy explains how North Carat collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you visit northcarat.com, create an account, place an order, submit a custom jewelry request, or contact us.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country or region, account details, shipping and billing information, order details, jewelry preferences, budget range, messages, uploaded reference files, and saved design concepts or revisions.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, and cookie or security data. Payment providers process payment credentials; North Carat does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide and secure the site, create and manage accounts, process orders and payments, deliver customer support, review custom jewelry requests, generate and save requested design concepts, prevent fraud or misuse, improve the customer experience, comply with legal obligations, and communicate about an order or inquiry.

Custom Design and AI-Assisted Concepts

When you use an AI-assisted design path, the answers, instructions, reference material, and selected prior concept needed for that request may be processed by an image-generation service. AI-assisted images are exploratory concepts only and are not final products, manufacturing drawings, exact dimensions, color guarantees, price commitments, or manufacturability promises.

Accounts and Google Sign-In

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the basic account information needed to identify and create or connect your North Carat account, such as your name, email address, and account identifier. North Carat does not receive your Google password.

How Information Is Shared

We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, ecommerce, payments, authentication, communications, storage, security, analytics, delivery, and AI-assisted concept generation. We share only what is reasonably needed for the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Customer Content and Public Use

Customer photos, signatures, handwriting, private stories, generated works, and chat attachments are used to provide the requested service. North Carat will not use identifiable customer material on its website, social media, portfolio, or advertising without separate authorization.

Retention

Unless a longer period is required by law, a dispute, security needs, or an order-specific obligation, unconverted inquiry uploads are normally retained for 90 days; converted customer source material for 12 months after project completion; customer-service records for 24 months; final design and production records for 3 years; and order, payment, refund, and other business records for 7 years.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site may use essential cookies for account access, shopping-bag and checkout functions, saved preferences, security, and site performance. Additional measurement or marketing technologies should be used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

Your Choices and Rights
