These Terms & Conditions govern your use of northcarat.com and purchases or requests made through North Carat. North Carat is operated by 深圳市金艺彩珠宝有限公司. The formal English legal name or payment descriptor shown on applicable official payment or cross-border documents controls where one is required.

Using the Site

You must provide accurate information and use the site only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. We may restrict access or cancel activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, automated, or harmful.

Product Information

We aim to present product descriptions, materials, dimensions, colors, images, and availability accurately. Screens, photography, natural materials, and individually produced work may show reasonable variation. Review the written configuration before ordering.

Prices, Taxes, Duties, and Payment

Site prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Launch checkout uses PayPal or PayPal card processing. Shipping, taxes, duties, currency conversion, or payment-provider charges are included only when the checkout or order confirmation expressly says so. If an order is confirmed as DDP or Duties Included, North Carat handles the stated import formalities and duties for that route. We monitor US sales-tax obligations and will collect tax where required.

An order is not accepted until payment is authorized and North Carat confirms it. We may correct an obvious pricing, configuration, or availability error and will offer an appropriate cancellation or refund if an affected order cannot proceed. Coupons do not apply to custom deposits, balance payments, manual quotations, or shipping unless expressly approved, and coupons may not be stacked.

Orders and Controlling Documents

Items remain subject to availability and order review. A shopping-bag confirmation or automated receipt does not by itself guarantee acceptance, production, or shipment. Mandatory applicable law controls first, followed by the order-specific Final Approved Specification or Order Confirmation, the policy version accepted for that order, and then general FAQ or marketing material. WhatsApp or other informal discussion changes an order only when recorded as an approved order-specific exception.

Custom and Made-to-Order Jewelry

The standard custom payment schedule is a 50% deposit and 50% balance. The project proceeds to production only after cleared deposit funds, a traceable Final Approved Specification, required production information, and a Release to Production decision. Online custom routes may use a project ID, Final Approved Specification, and WooCommerce order/payment record instead of a traditional PI document.

After final customer approval, cleared deposit, and Release to Production, customer-requested design changes are not accepted. If a manufacturing issue is identified, work is paused and the customer is contacted; the confirmed design is not changed without an updated written approval. The full required balance and approval must be received before shipment.

North Carat does not accept customer-supplied precious stones, old jewelry, keepsakes, or other physical items as production material at launch. Images, stories, or object references may be used as design inspiration.

AI-Assisted Design Concepts

AI-generated or AI-assisted images are exploratory concepts and may contain visual inconsistencies or technically infeasible details. They are not manufacturing drawings, valuations, certificates, inventory promises, exact color or dimension guarantees, price commitments, or guarantees of final appearance. Available concept and revision usage follows the generation allowance shown by the system; there is no separate promise of unlimited or fixed free revision rounds.

Shipping, Cancellations, Returns, and Service

Review our Shipping & Returns and Warranty & Service guidance together with the terms confirmed for your order. Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not accepted, subject always to rights that cannot legally be excluded. A claimed manufacturing defect, description issue, shipping damage, loss, or other service problem is reviewed using available evidence; it does not create an automatic refund. Depending on the verified circumstances, the resolution may include repair, remake, reshipment, compensation, rejection of the claim, or refund.

Customer Material and Intellectual Property

You confirm that you have the right to use and share submitted material. You permit North Carat and supporting service providers to process it only as reasonably needed to provide, review, save, and communicate about the requested service. Separate authorization is required before identifiable customer material is used publicly or in marketing. The site design, brand elements, text, product information, and North Carat content may not be copied, scraped, republished, sold, or exploited without permission.

Disclaimers and Applicable Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and exploratory guidance are provided without guarantees beyond those expressly confirmed for an accepted order. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, Privacy, and Contact

Later policy updates apply to later activity unless applicable law or an accepted order requires otherwise. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. For questions, please use our contact form. Our customer-service target is an initial response within 12 hours.
